Gendering ASEAN Economic Community: Assessing Creative Industry Policy in Nusa Tenggara

This research attemtps to unpack the gendered construction of creative industry policy in rural Indonesia, by taking into account local governance policies related to industrial policies. In so doing, this research will be focused in three key areas. First, this research will understand the linkages between creative industry and ASEAN economic integration from a standpoint feminist perspective. Second, research will conduct a gender-based analysis on local government policies in woven role industries in Eastern and Western Nusa Tenggara. Third, this research attempts to formulate a specific gender responsive policies to improve woven rope industries policies in both Districts. This research will do so through a collaboration with ASPPUK and Indonesian Institute of Sciences.
